Process Management is a practice that assists colleges and universities in continuously improving their systems and processes in order to better serve their students and stakeholders. It is a set of tools combined with a philosophy of quality improvement that causes processes to become more effective and efficient, therefore resulting in improved service, saved time and saved money. It can be used in any department of any college or university including academic departments, student services areas, administration and finance areas and human resource departments. It also promotes team building and collaboration among faculty and staff.
