Four Learning Centers are also part of the Department of Academic Preparation (formerly Developmental Studies). They are: the English Language Center, the Math Center, the Reading Center and the Writing Center. All of these centers provide individualized support for the students enrolled in developmental courses. The Math Center also supports students in all college-level math courses.  The approach is learner centered and holistic. Students in other college-level courses are encouraged to visit the Academic Resource and Tutoring Center for assistance.
