Applications Option

The associate in science degree option in Computer and Information Sciences: Applications Option is designed to serve the needs of the career-oriented student who wishes to find employment in the modern office environment. This program provides training in word processing, spreadsheet applications, data management, web page design, computerized office operations, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills. A minimum of 65 credit hours are required for graduation.

For Students who are proficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, but not Access and cannot test out of CIS 110. They will then need to test out of CIS 110 after taking CIS 106 because they will need the 3 credits to meet program requirements.
