Information Technology Fluency
Computer skills are necessary for success at work, school, and even increasingly at home. If you need to improve your computer skills, the Information Fluency Certificate is for you. This 16-credit certificate is also a great option to complete in conjunction with another certificate or degree.

Tech Student
At NECC, the Information Technology Fluency Certificate will provide you with training in word processing, spreadsheet applications, and database management software. You will use bulletin board discussions and chat rooms, and learn an overview of the core aspects of information technology including computer hardware, computer networks, operating systems, application software, information security, interactive media and programming.
Completion of this certificate will give you the basic computer skills needed to use information technology in a work, school, organization, or home setting.
