NECC’s Computer Networking Certificate will provide you with the skills necessary to install, configure, and manage hardware and software used in local area networks (LAN). You will learn about installing and troubleshooting operating systems, creating users and groups, and administering permissions to network resources. You will also gain knowledge of wide area networks (WAN), firewalls, and wireless networking. To meet the needs of the majority of students who enroll in the Computer Networking Program who work during the day, this program is offered evenings.

Completion of this certificate will allow you to pursue many career paths. You could work for large corporations, small businesses, colleges and universities, schools, non-profit and government agencies, or other professional office settings. Sample job titles include network administrator, computer technician, computer operator, and more.
