Would you like to pursue a career as an illustrator? Do you have a passion for drawing and sketching? Do you want to communicate ideas visually? Then NECC’s Associate Degree in Illustration is for you.

NECC’s Associate Degree in Illustration provides you with the skills necessary to pursue a career in illustration. The program requires course work in art, design, illustration, business and computer graphics. You will learn the entry-level skills used in a commercial studio, and be exposed to the business, as well as art, of illustration. You will also create a portfolio and resume, and learn how to present your work.

Graduates will be able to pursue many career paths, and could work for magazines, publishers, web companies, corporations, and more. You will also be prepared to transfer to a four-year college or university or art school.
