Program Notes
Students enrolling in this program should be aware of the professional qualities needed to be successful in a career working with young children (i.e. patience, enthusiasm, knowledge and concern for others). Success in this program will require excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills. Students are expected to have their own means of transportation to and from assigned field placements and practicum sites.
All students (part-time and full-time) must have an updated immunization record on file in order to begin assigned field placements and practicum placements.
Helpful Hints
It is strongly recommended that students planning to pursue a four year degree select the Humanities/Fine Arts electives in consultation with the Program Coordinator to ensure transferability.
