The associate in arts degree option in Physical Education, Exercise Science and Sport Studies is designed for students who want to begin their career preparation for a career in a physical activity profession. Students will study the discipline and sub-disciplines of physical activity and explore the various related career options. The curriculum combined a well rounded educational foundation that maximizes transfer opportunities to physical education, exercise science, pre-physical therapy, athletic training, recreation, coaching, youth development and other sport related degree programs at the baccalaureate level. A minimum of 61/62 credit hours are required for graduation.
