There is an ongoing need for individuals who have Computed Tomography (CT) training and experience. In the past technologists learned how to perform CT scans through on-the-job training experiences in CT departments. Many radiology managers today find that it is too time consuming to train someone with no previous CT experience and prefer to hire only experienced CT technologists.
This program is designed for individuals with no CT experience who want to learned how to perform CT and also for those experienced CT technologists who would like assistance in preparing to take the national certification exam in CT offered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists through a formal program of study.
As working professionals, they can expect to provide hospitals and other clinical facilities with excellent qualifications as entry-level computed tomography technologists.
