Effective Fall 2013 this Program will ONLY be OFFERED in 
The certificate program in Medical Billing is designed for persons interested in working in a medical billing setting of a clinic, physician’s office, medical insurance office, or billing department of other health facilities. Through the course of study, students will learn the terminology, record and forms management, medical insurance requirements, and billing procedures needed to effectively manage patient accounts.
CORI/SORI/CHRI: Students interested in participating in this program may be required to undergo a Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) check, a Criminal Records Central Repository (CHRI) check, and a Sex Offender Record Information (SORI) check. Students must earn a grade of “C” or better in all career courses in order to graduate. A minimum of 25 credit hours are required for graduation.
