The certificate program in Medical Coding is designed for entry level positions. Courses include Medical Terminology, Human Biology and Clinical Pathophysiology, as well as those which are Coding specific. Upon completion of the program, graduates may apply for employment in a variety of healthcare settings. Students must earn a minimum grade of C in all career courses in order to graduate. A minimum of 28/29 credit hours are required for graduation.
NOTE: CIS110 Computer Applications must be taken before MRT117
