Program Notes
Students enrolling in the Advanced Placement Option should be aware of professional attributes, such as respect, teamwork, honesty and calmness required to provide safe nursing care to people of all ages. Success in this profession will require good communication, organizational and critical thinking skills.
Students must be admitted to the Advanced placement Option to enroll in nursing (NUR) courses. Courses must be taken in the specific sequence identified below. Students may be required to participate in either day or evening clinical placements.
The Advanced placement Day Option is the traditional face-to-face classroom. The Evening Option in iHealth@NECC is a hybrid-online modality for the classroom part of the program. Classes/clinicals are scheduled in the evenings and/or weekends.
