Are you someone who believes we learn from the past? If so, you may find a Liberal Arts degree with a concentration in History is for you.

By completing NECC’s Associate Degree in Liberal Arts: History Option, you will acquire substantial historical knowledge and gain a solid foundation in courses across the curriculum, particularly those emphasizing critical reading, critical thinking, research, and communication. The program offers guidance in course selection to students interested in transferring to a four-year school to pursue a bachelor’s degree in history.

Graduates will be able to pursue many career paths, and may find work in education, research, business, law, politics, social work, and more. Most jobs require a four-year bachelor degree.
