By completing NECC’s Associate Degree in Liberal Arts: History Option, you will acquire substantial historical knowledge and gain a solid foundation in courses across the curriculum, particularly those emphasizing critical reading, critical thinking, research, and communication. The program offers guidance in course selection to students interested in transferring to a four-year school to pursue a bachelor’s degree in history.
