NECC’s Associate Degree is Liberal Arts: Psychology Option will expose you to a range of introductory-level psychology courses as well as related behavioral science courses. You will gain a solid foundation in courses across the curriculum and be well-prepared to transfer to a four-year institution to pursue a career in the field of psychology.
Graduates can pursue many career paths and may find work in psychology, education, social work, administration, and more. Most jobs in the field require a bachelor’s degree.

Northern Essex has an open admissions policy, which means that if you have a high school diploma or GED/HiSet or other state-approved equivalency credential, you are eligible to enroll at NECC. Just fill out an application, attend an orientation/assessment session, and then register for classes.
