Electronics Experience
NECC’s Electronic Equipment Technology Certificate will prepare you for an entry-level career in electronic technology. The program combines electronic theory with hands-on laboratory experiences. To meet the needs of the majority of students who enroll in the Electronic Equipment Technology Program who work during the day, this program is offered evenings. Graduates will gain highly marketable skills encompassing the use of modern electronic technology.
Graduates will be able to pursue many career paths. You can seek a job as an entry level electrical/electronic technician, which involves helping design, develop, test and manufacture electrical and electronic equipment and solve technical problems; or as an electronic equipment servicing technician, which involves servicing, repairing, and maintaining electronic systems, equipment, and products.
