Green Training and Certification

Instruction, program content, certificate of completion and extensive materials for the following certification and/or credentialing programs are provided by Everblue Training Institute, premier international sustainable education provider dedicated to helping you succeed in the green economy with a pass rate of over 90%.  Course accreditations and continuing education credit is also available.

LEED Certification: Green Associate Exam Prep

Become accredited as a LEED Green Associate! The LEED credential is the most widely recognized accreditation for anyone involved in environmental design and green building practices and the Green Associate is the place to begin. This comprehensive, high-energy two day test prep course includes critical information on LEED building rating systems and standards, simulated test questions, and strategies to pass the exam.

LEED AP Building, Design, and Construction Exam Prep

Learn the requirements and calculations required to earn your LEED AP accreditation. You’ll complete a review of the LEED rating system, processes, procedures and calculations required for attaining LEED certification, focus your study efforts, and be well prepared to pass this specialty exam focusing on the largest, broadest of the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED rating systems. Ideal for contractors, architects, designers, developers, or anyone interested in green building.

Prerequisites: LEED Green Associate accreditation and LEED Project experience. Includes practice exams and extensive study materials.

BPI Building Analyst & Envelope Professional Combo Certification Prep for Energy Auditors

This intensive program provides job training and preparation for the BPI (Building Performance Institute) Building Analyst and Envelope Professional certifications for energy auditors and others involved in residential energy conservation.  Understand the fundamentals of building science, energy systems, identify common building envelope problems that reduce efficiency, air quality, comfort and occupant health and safety.  Conduct an energy audit?comprehensive home assessment and safety testing on combustion appliances.  This program includes the written and field certification exam administered at the end of class.

Please note:  This BPI combination program includes the Building Science Principles, BPI Building Analyst, and BPI Envelope Shell Professional (Re)certification programs which may also be taken separately.

Solar PV Associate NEW!

This 40-hour course is designed to help you understand the fastest growing form of power generation in the world—solar power.  Key concepts include the basics of electricity, solar design, and installation.  Students will also have an opportunity to set up a small solar circuit (via their own take-home solar kit) to reinforce the concepts taught in the classroom.  As a Solar PV Associate, you will qualify to take the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Entry Level Exam.
