Project Management Certificate

Project Management has become a necessity for doing business! As resources become increasingly scarce, the need to closely manage and control cost, human resources, schedule and quality become a necessity. As the demand for better, faster, less expensive quality products continues to increase, so does the demand for knowledgeable, competent, trained Project Managers. Managing Project Contracts & Costs

Since a project needs to procure resources from outside its team, take advantage of this course which helps a project manager understand, estimate, plan, and control costs, and budgets; select the best contract type for a project; and negotiate and manage that contract to benefit the project.  Also covered: The Earned Value Management (EVM) technique.

Managing Project Risks

This course helps the Project Manager properly identify, analyze, respond to, and monitor project risks.  Covers risk tolerance, risk response plans, plus tools and techniques such as decision trees, risk vs. reward and expected value analyses, influence diagrams, and contingency planning.  Participate in group simulations of a triathlon race, a boat rental company, and a desert trip to illustrate these practices.

 PMP®/CAPM® Certification Exam Prep
