QuickBooks Pro 2015: Introduction

In this course you will work with QuickBooks Pro 2015, software designed to help small and medium-sized businesses keep their books easily and accurately. You will begin with an introduction to the software and some basic file management principles. Then you will learn the fundamental skills needed to effectively deal with customers, vendors, and banking transactions and how to create your own company file. Bring flash drive to class.

In this course you will deal with QuickBooks intermediate skills, including dealing with physical inventory, sales tax, payroll, and asset, liability, and equity accounts. You will also learn how to work with class, estimate, and time tracking features and how to customize reports and create custom templates. Bring flash drive to class.

Students who successfully complete both Introduction to QuickBooks and Intermediate QuickBooks may also earn 3 credits (as the equivalent of ACC205) applicable toward their NECC associate degree or certificate program.
