Cake Decorating for Beginners

Wishing you could confidently frost and decorate a cake for someone special? Come learn not only the basics of trimming and frosting a layer cake but also how to pipe borders, create garlands and basket weaves, and make flowers and leaves. In the end, bring in your own unfrosted layer cake and decorate yours from start to finish.

Cake Decorating, Part Two

By popular demand … the continuation of Cake Decorating for Beginners.

Learn more advanced techniques, such as frosting a square cake with perfect edges, brush embroidery, royal icing flowers, and fondant bows. Your final project will be a wonderful gift box cake decorated using all of these techniques.

Students will need to bring their material kits from the Beginner Cake Decorating class. Bring a crumb coated, refrigerated, two-layer, 8″-square cake and two batches of buttercream frosting to the first class.
