Beginner Sewing                                                                      

In this introductory class you will learn to use your sewing machine and how to use and follow a pattern to create garments or home furnishings. Tips, tools, & techniques geared for the beginner will be covered. Find out if sewing is for you or just learn to do basic alterations. Bring your own sewing machine & extension cord.  Materials list will be mailed prior to class. Limit 8.

“Beyond Beginner” Sewing 

Sewing machine use, using patterns and buying of fabrics will be discussed. Students can create garments or home furnishings. Some knowledge of sewing is helpful. Limit 8.

Upholstery For DINING ROOMS CHAIRS!!!! NEW!

Come learn the introductory steps to re-upholstery. Start with your dining room chairs.  Class will include removing old coverings, strengthening frames, calculating yardage and much more.  Bring ONE of your dining room chairs to work on in class. Chairs cannot be stored at class.  Basic sewing skills needed & bring your own sewing machine to the second class.  Limit 10.
