Introduction to Arabic

Learn standard Arabic. Class will combine speaking with some reading and writing. Start learning the alphabet, numbers, and basic vocabulary and most common verbs. Please purchase and bring your textbook to the first class: Arabic in 10 Minutes a Day

Introduction to German

Learn the alphabet, definite and indefinite articles, personal pronouns, and the conjugation of the most frequently used verbs, as well as various aspects of German culture. Class focuses on appropriate sentence construction using increasing vocabulary and grammar, along with an emphasis on correct pronunciation.

Beginner Conversational Italian

Are you planning a trip to Italy, have Italian relatives that you want to converse with or perhaps you just want to learn a new language? Learn grammar, parts of speech, and focus on speaking. Lessons use real situation conversation, role play, grammar drills and listening exercises to learn the language and improve pronunciation. No textbook required.

Learn vocabulary, grammar and how to communicate in Spanish in this interactive class that includes lots of activities like games, conversation, reading and role playing. Intermediate Conversational Spanish

Emphasizes the oral practice; review of basic structure; reading & writing to develop active command of the language. Designed for those whose study of Spanish has been interrupted for a significant amount of time & for those who have had a little experience with Spanish. Spanish Grammar Refresher

This course is designed for students who need to focus more on the grammar and writing skills of Spanish. Specific grammar points will be covered including verb tenses, noun agreements, subjunctives (moods) and vocabulary. Students will speak in Spanish to practice. Pre-requisite: Students should have prior Spanish speaking experience or have completed the non-credit Beginner Conversational Spanish course (Textbook: Learn Spanish the Fast and Fun Way, 4th Edition, ISBN 978-1438074979).
