Cuba Trip for all of our arm chair travelers by Gradon McCormick
The largest island of the West Indies group (equal in area to Pennsylvania), Cuba is also the westernmost—just west of Hispaniola (Haiti and the Dominican Republic), and 90 mi (145 km) south of Key West, Fla., at the entrance to the Gulf of Mexico. The island is mountainous in the southeast and south-central area (Sierra Maestra). It is flat or rolling elsewhere. Cuba also includes numerous smaller islands, islets, and cays. Join Gradon and experience his travel to Cuba and you may be surprised at some of the fascinating sights that Cuba has to offer the traveler.

The Theater of the 1930′s, 1940′s, and 1950′s performed by Stephen Collins
Since the late 1990’s Stephen’s performances have captured the attention of the press. It is not just the stunning resemblance to Walt Whitman himself, which many of the reviews notice, but the portrayal of the character and the essence that he brings within arms reach to the audience that makes the past come to life. Join both Life Long Learning as well as Haverhill Council on Aging presenting you with this extraordinary performance.
An Afternoon of Accordion & Song – Dave Caponigro
Let’s have some fun! Sing, dance or just listen to the songs you know and love. Dave Caponigro sings and plays songs from your favorite singers and shows. Hear songs from waltzes to polkas, rumbas, to swing. You’ll enjoy what he can do with the accordion along with his infamous stories on what happened on the way to some of his gigs.

Songs from Gershwin, Rogers & Hammerstein along with favorites from the 60′s, 70′s, & 80′s to sing along with if you so choose. There will be lots of music from our past that connect us to our present. This program is in honor of Mother’s Day so if you would like wear your favorite hat.
