Become accredited as a LEED Green Associate! The LEED credential is the most widely recognized accreditation for anyone involved in environmental design and green building practices and the Green Associate designation is the place to begin. This comprehensive, high-energy two day test prep course includes critical information on LEED building rating systems/standards, simulated test questions, and strategies to pass the exam.

Learn the requirements and calculations required to earn your LEED AP accreditation. You’ll complete a review of the LEED rating system, processes, procedures and calculations associated with attaining LEED certification, focus your study efforts, ease tension, and be well prepared to pass this specialty exam focusing on the largest, broadest of the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED rating systems. Ideal for contractors, architects, developers, or anyone interested in green building.
Prerequisites: LEED Green Associate accreditation and LEED Project Experience. Includes practice exams and extensive study materials.

This intensive program provides job training and preparation for the BPI (Building Performance Institute) Building Analyst and Envelope Professional certifications for energy auditors and others involved in residential energy conservation. Understand the fundamentals of building science, energy systems, identify common building envelope problems that reduce efficiency, air quality, comfort and occupant health and safety. Conduct an energy audit/comprehensive home assessment and safety testing on combustion appliances. This program includes the Building Science Principles, BPI Building Analyst, and BPI Envelope Shell Professional (re-)certification programs which may also be taken separately.

Defining and implementing a sustainability strategy is not only the right thing to do; it’s good business! Whether in an established company or just starting your business, you’ll benefit from learning key sustainability principles and regulatory proposals/requirements that could affect your business plus best practices to determine and measure environmental impacts, conduct a carbon footprint assessment, recommend ways to go carbon neutral, and identify concrete steps to impact the bottom line as well as the environment. Everblue CSM (Certified Sustainability Manager) exam administered on the last day.

This 40-hour course is designed to help you understand the fastest growing form of power generation in the world—solar power. Key concepts include the basics of electricity, solar design, and installation. Students will also have an opportunity to set up a small solar circuit (via their own take-home solar kit) to reinforce the concepts taught in the classroom. As a Solar PV Associate, you will qualify to take the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Entry Level Exam.
