Incoming Students

For admission to the program directly from high school, students must

• Have a B+ average in high school courses
• Be in the top one-fourth of their graduation class
• Complete an application to the program

Students currently enrolled at NECC/Transfer students

For admission to the program directly from NECC or another college, students must

• Have completed at least 12 credits towards a degree program
• Have a GPA of 3.3 or higher

For admission to Honors English Composition I

• Writing assessment score or
• Permission of the Honors coordinator

For admission to the Honors Colloquium

• GPA of 3.3 or higher and completion of English Composition I
