Honors Colloquium course: Blueprint for a Sustainable Life HON105 (Spring and Fall 2014)  – Blueprint for a Sustainable Life (PDF)

The Honors Colloquium is a 3-credit course that is held each semester. This interdisciplinary course will introduce honors students to a single broad topic that will be studied from a variety of perspectives. The topic and instructor of the course varies each year. Emphasis will be placed on the integration of material, critical thinking, independent research, and cooperative and experiential learning.

Honors Composition I is an Honors section of English Composition I. While the requirements for each course are essentially the same, the Honors section offers an opportunity for motivated students to explore ways to deepen their learning experience.

All Honors courses provides the following advantages:

  • Transfers to Commonwealth Honors Program colleges across Massachusetts
  • Serves as a gateway course to the Honors Experience at Northern Essex Community College
