Honors Colloquium (HON-100)
Honors Colloquium course: Visions of Utopia – Visions of Utopia Syllabus (PDF)
The Honors Colloquium is a 3-credit course that is held each semester. This interdisciplinary course will introduce honors students to a single broad topic that will be studied from a variety of perspectives. The topic and instructor of the course varies each year. Emphasis will be placed on the integration of material, critical thinking, independent research, and cooperative and experiential learning.

Honors English Composition I (ENG 101-HON)

Honors Composition I is an Honors section of English Composition I. While the requirements for each course are essentially the same, the Honors section offers an opportunity for motivated students to explore ways to deepen their learning experience.
The course provides the following advantages:

- Linked to the Deans Book Course of Commonwealth College at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst
- Opportunities for guest speakers and lecturers
- Transfers to Commonwealth Honors Program colleges across Massachusetts
