Honors Presentation

What is a “Project presentation”?

You will present your Honors Project twice. First you must present your findings at the end of the semester to your classmates in your mentored class. The presentation should take no more than 15 minutes (10 minute presentation with 5 minutes for questions). You need a visual aid (handout, overhead, or power point, but NOT a poster). Your presentation serves as a mini-lesson to the class on your topic.

The second presentation is at the Honors Poster Session, which is held at the end of the semester. Students create a poster on their topic using tri?fold poster board and everyone presents together in a setting that allows students, faculty, friends and family to circulate and ask questions of the presenters informally. Information about both presentations is forwarded to honors students during the semester.
