Adult Basic Education
Basic skill instruction in reading, writing, and math is provided to prepare adult learners to, obtain their high school credential and to succeed in their next steps, whether college, further training, employment, or personal goals. These programs help adult learners develop the skills, knowledge and confidence that will serve them in their roles as family members, parents, community members and employees, as well as with post-secondary education and training.
Pre-GED/Adult Secondary Education
This class provides instruction in developmental reading, writing and math for the adult learner. An assessment test is used to place all students.
- Computer Skills
GED Prep/Adult Secondary Education
This class prepares you for your GED exam (to earn your high school equivalency diploma) by concentrating on English grammar, essay writing and math. The GED Test is a set of five multiple-choice exams. The GED also has an essay component on a single topic.
This program offers supplemental math to students in both levels.
