Students in the new Math Resource Center

What an exciting time for the Math Department! In order to service all NECC Math students more efficiently, the Developmental Math Center and the Math Tutoring and Resource Center are merging!

The Math Center is now designated for all walk-in tutoring. Located on both the Haverhill campus and the Lawrence campus, the centers are staffed by professional and peer tutors who work days and evenings to best accommodate students.

All specialized tutoring services (one-on-one tutoring, group tutoring sessions, workshops, etc.) are available as well in the Math Center located on the Haverhill campus. This center is staffed by professional tutors who strive to provide the best service to ensure student success.  This center will be open Monday through Friday 9am-3pm.

Our Mission:

• To provide a comfortable and supportive atmosphere where students can learn and feel good about their math experiences.
• To provide and individualized approach to learning.
• To enable students to develop independent study habits.
• To assist students with alternative learning methods to best fit their learning style.
