Mentor Program

A network linking current and former NECC students Sharing Expertise and Experience

The Northern Essex Community College mentor program links current students with alumni, enabling students to obtain valuable firsthand career and education-related information.

The mentor program offers interested students the opportunity to receive firsthand insight and direction on educational options, goal setting, career choices, potential employers and networking opportunities. The program provides graduates with an opportunity to act as mentors and career consultants. Services provided by alumni may include, but are not limited to, individual telephone or personal conversations, email communication, shadowing experiences, networking, and internships.

The goal of the program is to foster effective and beneficial relations among all who participate: students, alumni, NECC's Alumni Association, the college's PACE Program and Career Planning, academic divisions, career services, and the community at large.
