Josh Motroni
Head Coach

Josh Motroni was named Head Coach of the Northern Essex Women's Basketball team on October 18th. One of Coach Motroni's biggest strengths is his abilities in rebuilding programs which will be the case for the Lady Knights.

Prior to Northern Essex, Motroni was the top Assistant Coach at Emerson College (2005-2007) under Melissa Hart. During his tenure there the Lions improved both seasons qualifying for post-season play in both. The 2006-07 team finished the regular season at 16-9, one of the best seasons in program history. Before Emerson, Motroni was the Associate Head Coach at Brimmer & May, (2001-2005) a prep school in Chestnut Hill under Daryn Freeedman. Prior to their arrival the Gators averaged less than 10 wins a season.
