The Poor Girl Gourmet cookbook features meals for $15 or less for 4 people, along with strategies for saving money on food spending, and cooking tips and techniques that everyone from the novice to the seasoned home cook can utilize.
A freelance broadcast producer of graphic packages and promos for clients such as A&E, History Channel, and Discovery Channel for more than 13 years, Amy McCoy is an avid home cook with a passion for food, writing, and photography. She began the Poor Girl Gourmet blog to chronicle her mission to feed her husband and herself the best possible food for the least possible amount of money.
