Need extra help with a Tough Course? Register for a Supplemental Instruction Course that Includes a Study Group
Are you more motivated to study for a test or complete a homework assignment if you’re involved with a study group? Have you put off taking College Algebra or Chemistry for fear it’s too difficult? Then you may want to consider registering for a Supplemental Instruction (SI) course this fall.
- SI courses are just like a regular class, but they also include a scheduled weekly study group that meets outside of class time and is facilitated by a peer tutor to provide you with extra support.
- A variety of math classes, science classes, and Basic Writing are offered as SI courses.
- SI classes cost the same as a class without the study group.
