Set in 1941 in Brooklyn, NY, Arsenic and Old Lace revolves around the Brewster Family. Martha and Abby are charming older ladies who are renown for their charity work. Their nephew Teddy thinks he is Teddy Roosevelt. Mortimer, another nephew, is a drama critic. His brother Jonathan has returned after a long absence. It seems Abby and Martha have been putting elderly, lonely old men out of their misery, and Jonathan has a taste for murder as well.
