NECC Veterans Writing Group
Are you a military veteran and have a story or two to tell?
Welcome Open Meeting: in the Don Pailes Conference Room, Second Floor of the Bentley Library.
The NECC Veterans Writing Group is open to all veterans and is sponsored by the English Department. This informal writing group is geared to supporting those military veterans (active and inactive) who attend NECC to tell their stories (both in and out of the military) through a variety of genres – non-fiction, fiction, drama, and poetry.
Broadly speaking, the focus of this group is to write, be heard, and be supported by other veterans. If you want to write and work with others of a similar interest, then consider attending. Veterans of all ages, military branches, and conflicts are invited to participate.
If you are a veteran and just want to listen, please come. The group facilitator Paul Saint-Amand, a Vietnam-Era veteran, can be contacted at (978) 556 3307 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Additional meetings are scheduled for the following dates: February 27, March 13, April 10, April 24, and May 15. All meetings will be held from 3:30 to 5:00pm.
