Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder

Students Faculty and Staff are invited to join us to better understand Autism Spectrum Disorders and the strengths and challenges of students with ASD in a college setting.

A recent estimate is that 1 in 88 people have some form of ASD which is a neurological disorder that affects the way information is processed in the brain. Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorder will be presented by Eva Mendez, MA, LMHC, NCC. Eva is an experienced psychotherapist and Disability Support Counselor at U Mass Lowell who specializes in working with adults on the Autism Spectrum. There will also be panel of NECC students
