Robert Milton is retired Commander of Scotland Yard, and a Distinguished Expert in the Field of Counter-terrorism. Milton will discuss recent terror attacks and how the criminal justice system as a whole must work together to stop similar events from occurring. 

 Topics to be covered will include:

  1.  What we mean by violent radicalization and extremism
  2.  Examination of the process of violent radicalization
  3.  What can be done to prevent an individual from becoming a violent extremist?
  4.  Can we de-radicalize?
