The NECC Campus Classic 5K and Fun Run features something for everyone! Run in the 5k through Northern Essex Community College’s beautiful Haverhill Campus and the surrounding neighborhood, walk the same route with friends and family, or join in the Fun Run on our track (ages 12 and under). Celebrate after the race events with music, face painting, awards, refreshments and giveaways from area vendors. If you are a proud college graduate or current student, you are encouraged to wear apparel from your college as you run or walk.

This race is part of the Merrimack Valley Striders 2013 Super Iron Runner Series.

Date: Saturday, May 4, 2013

Start Time: 5K starts at 10 a.m. Fun Run Starts at 9 a.m.

Race Course: 5K USATF certified course. Fun run around track.

T-shirts: To the first 200 runners to enter 5K and the first 50 Fun Run registrants.

5K Entry Fee: $25 before April 29; $30 after April 29. Kids’ Fun Run: $10. Online registration closes April 29.

Location: Northern Essex Community College’s Haverhill Campus, 100 Elliott St., Haverhill, MA (directions)

Number and T-shirt Pick-up: Beginning at 8 a.m. on the day of the race at the registration tent

Race Timing: This event will be timed by Bay State Race Services.
