Students with Disabilities

 

Career Planning offers a variety of support services in career planning, preparation, and job seeking specifically tailored for students with disabilities. Staff can assist students with the following services:

  • Obtaining reasonable accommodations for Work-Study, Cooperative Education jobs, volunteer work, employment, and workshops.

  • Securing information about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

  • Job coaching for on-campus work.

  • Deciding whether or not to disclose a disability to a potential employer.

  • Learning how to market skills, strengths and abilities to potential employers.

Staff can also assist students with participation
in any of the other CP programs.
