Health Information Technology, Coding, and Medical Billing: Students are scheduled for internships and practicums through Career Planning.

The Field Placement Coordinator, working in conjunction with the Coordinator of Health Information Technology, develops the sites and schedules qualified students for placement in hospitals, nursing homes, Visiting Nurses Associations, rehabilitation facilities, mental health facilities, medical offices, etc.

Students matriculated in any of these majors are notified by mail of upcoming orientations and the requirements that must be met prior to placement.

Disney: Experience Disney World in their unique "Living, Learning, and Earning" opportunity as a cast member in the Disney World College Program. College students in good academic standing may qualify to participate in this opportunity and earn college credit at the same time. In addition to electing 3-6 Cooperative Education credits, students may also qualify for other course credits when they enroll in one or more of the 6 courses offered on site at Disney World. Recruiters from Disney visit NECC each fall and spring semester and hold information sessions for interested students.
