Disney
Health Information Technology,
Coding, and Medical Billing: Students are scheduled
for internships and practicums through Career Planning.
The Field Placement Coordinator, working in conjunction with the Coordinator
of Health Information Technology, develops the sites and schedules qualified
students for placement in hospitals, nursing homes, Visiting Nurses Associations,
rehabilitation facilities, mental health facilities, medical offices, etc.
Students matriculated in any of these majors are notified by mail of upcoming
orientations and the requirements that must be met prior to placement.
Disney: Experience Disney World in their unique
"Living, Learning, and Earning" opportunity as a cast member in the
Disney World College Program. College students in good academic standing may
qualify to participate in this opportunity and earn college credit at the same
time. In addition to electing 3-6 Cooperative Education credits, students
may
also qualify for other course credits when they enroll in one or more of the
6 courses offered on site at Disney World. Recruiters from Disney visit NECC
each fall and spring semester and hold information sessions for interested
