As part of its year-long 50th anniversary celebration, Northern Essex Community College will host a special event to honor influential NECC community members that have made a powerful and positive difference to Northern Essex, its students, and to the surrounding communities over the last 50 years. Last year a general call went out to the community asking for nominations. Close to 150 were received, and were carefully considered by a committee of college faculty and staff, which made recommendations to College President Lane Glenn.

The recipients of the Making a Difference Awards will be recognized at a 50th Anniversary Celebration event on:

6:30pm
DiBurro’s Function Hall in Ward Hill

The evening will include dinner, an auction, and entertainment, including a student musical performance. Local news and entertainment reporter for NECN and KISS 108, Billy Costa, will be the Auctioneer. Tickets for the Celebration event are available.
