| Course Description | This course, designed for students who need to improve the writing skills necessary to succeed in Composition I, emphasizes the composition of essays with further work on sentence and paragraph structure. Attention is also given to punctuation, grammar and spelling. Instructors require 1/2 hour/week of additional lab.
PLEASE NOTE: This course is a developmental course and DOES NOT carry graduation credit. It is NOT usually transferable. Since developmental courses are mandated courses, students who do not meet the exit criteria of C or better for Basic Writing will be required to repeat them. |
