Assessment Testing with Deaf & Hard of Hearing Services

See Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services website
Deaf and Hard of Hearing students work closely with Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (DHHS) to coordinate assessment testing. The free assessment test ensures that students enroll in courses appropriate to their skill levels. Students will not be allowed to register until they have completed the assessment.

Placement in the English Language Cluster courses is for qualified students who need pre-development work and is based on the results of the assessment test.

The assessment consists of a reading comprehension and vocabulary test , the Accuplacer CPT Math Test, and a writing sample. The writing sample on an assigned topic is a five-paragraph, typewritten essay done on a computer.

It's beneficial to study! We suggest students work on vocabulary, comprehension skills and practice taking multiple choice tests.
