Placement into the courses is determined by the college's assessment process. Basic Reading, Basic Reading Lab, College Reading and College Reading Lab are required for matriculating students whose reading score falls within certain ranges.

Individualized assistance and instruction is provided to students by the staff of the Reading Center.
