Check out Northern Essex Community College’s newest campus, NECC Riverwalk, right off Route 495 in Lawrence.  NECC Riverwalk is a newly renovated space, and includes 20 classrooms, five state-of-the-art computer labs, conference rooms and staff offices.  Conveniently located close to other businesses including restaurants, banks, fitness centers, and day care centers, NECC Riverwalk features plenty of free parking in a safe, accessible environment.

At NECC Riverwalk you can:

Earn an Associate Degree or Certificate in Business and Computer & Information Sciences

If you are interested in a career in Business or Computer & Information Sciences, you can make this happen with ease at NECC Riverwalk.  Classes are offered at a time and in a way that works for you:

  • In the classroom – come to classes twice a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays, days or evenings
  • Hybrid – half online, half in the classroom, attend classes only one day a week on Wednesdays
  • Accelerated Programs – Put your career on the fast track by completing your Associate Degree in Business Management in only 16 months, or your Certificate in Business Management: Hospitality in only 32 weeks!  Accelerated Programs are offered on Fridays or Saturdays

The  Center for Adult Education Programs and Practitioners ( CAEPP) at Riverwalk offers adult learners the opportunity to improve English Skills through English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and ESOL Transition to College programs funded by the MA Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Services include:

  • Classroom instruction including weekly computer lab
  • Educational counseling and support
  • Career awareness and exploration
