Apply for a Federal Stafford Loan or Parent Plus Loan
- Complete Loan Entrance Counseling Online:
- Complete your Loan Application & Master Promissory Note:
- Submit the Loan Request form to NECC:
Go to http://www.edfund.org/students/studentsmenu.html and click the Red & Yellow link for “ED Test” in the upper right hand corner. Use the drop down menu(s) for state and school to select NECC and begin the Entrance Exam.
Go to https://www.edfund.org/wps/portal/loanportal and select “student” for the Stafford loan or select “parent” for the Parent Plus Loan, then use the drop down menu(s) for state and school to select NECC. Click “View Lender Options.” Choose one of the lenders listed under Stafford Loans and click “apply.” Follow the lender’s instructions to complete the Stafford Loan Application or Parent Plus Loan Application.
**If you do not see your choice of lender listed, please contact NECC for assistance in applying for a Stafford Loan with your choice of lender. The lenders listed are NECC’s preferred lenders (see Federal Family Education Loan Program on how these lenders are chosen).
Download the Loan Request Form, print and complete the form, then and submit the completed form to NECC.
