Institutional Advancement
Welcome!
The Office of Institutional Advancement at Northern Essex Community College exists to secure external funding to help the college achieve its mission of serving the people of the Greater Merrimack Valley as a caring and comprehensive center of educational excellence that offers high quality, affordable adult and post secondary education through the Associate Degree level, as well as a broad range of occupational programs and community services which enhance the social, cultural and economic life of the region.
Fundraising is critical for NECC as the Commonwealth of Massachusetts provides less than 50% of the College's total operating budget. The Office of Institutional Advancement, in collaboration with the NECC Foundation, Alumni Association, and the Women of NECC, conducts a wide variety of fundraising activities to augment this funding and provide opportunities for our students.
The Institutional Advancement Team accomplishes its mission through fundraising, promoting the College as a community resource, and by securing and managing public and private resources, and gifts in support of special projects.
The Institutional Advancement Team is a group of professionals who work with the college’s many constituencies – students and their families, alumni, business and community leaders, donors and potential donors and many others to support the college. They are assisted in their efforts by the NECC Foundation, Inc. and the Women of NECC.
