Women of NECC
The Women of NECC
The Women of Northern Essex Community College are a volunteer organization dedicated to assisting Northern Essex Community College and its students.
The Women of NECC generate funds for student scholarships and special projects by conducting a variety of fundraising events throughout the school year which include a Fall Membership Tea and a June Gala Open House event.
The Women of NECC formed in 1997 when a core group of community volunteers learned of the difficulties facing the average NECC student. The Women organized to help these students juggle their many responsibilities while attempting to further their education and earn necessary job skills.
