  • Must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
  • Must register for a minimum of 6 credits for Fall 2014 by May 16, 2014.

Ask the person writing the letter to email as an attachment to scholarships@necc.mass.edu or mail to Institutional Advancement, Northern Essex Community College, 100 Elliott Street, Haverhill, MA 01830 by April 11, 2014.

You must register for fall classes before your application can be reviewed by the scholarship committee.

  • If you drop below the scholarship award minimum of six (6) credits by the end of any term for which you receive a scholarship award, the award will be rescinded and you will be billed for that term.
  • If at the end of the Spring 2015 term funds are unused, they will be rescinded; at no time will scholarship award funds be given directly to a student.

Applicants usually receive notification by the beginning of July. Recipients must write a thank you note for the donor, as well as return a signed letter showing they agree to the terms of the award.

Awards will be applied to your fall semester bill as pending until all scholarship requirements are met.
