Tech Prep
Northern Essex Community College is a charter member of the Merrimack Valley Occupational and Tech Prep Educators Collaborative (MVOTEC). Through MVOTEC and cooperative ventures between secondary and postsecondary schools, agreements of program articulation provide students the opportunity to earn college credit upon admission to NECC. Qualified students have graduated from high school as a Tech Prep student in an articulated program, or have graduated from an articulated secondary or postsecondary program. Tech Prep and other qualified students must provide evidence of their eligibility upon admission to the college for proper placement within their program and posting of earned transfer credit.
